AND THE WINNER IS…..

Congratulations to Colin Firth on his best actor Oscar! I always feel so proud when Americans honour British stars! I haven’t seen ‘The King’s Speech’ yet but I’m very much looking forward to it. And of course I can never shake the image of Firth as a sexy, bedraggled Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice (the London escorts have been swooning over these scenes). Although it was years ago now, the great man is still just as handsome as ever and seems to carry the ‘Mr Darcy’ echoes with him.

I have to admit I’m a sucker for big glitzy award shows and the Oscars are about the biggest and glitziest there are. I particularly love admiring the fashion, and enjoy seeing photos of the ‘best dressed’ and the ‘worst dressed’. Quite often I disagree with the official line, but surely no one could fault the simple, beautiful elegance of Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Halle Berry, Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johanssen at this year’s ceremony. Host Anne Hathway (she of the very strange face, I think) ploughed through an amazing seven different gowns in the course of the evening – some of them hot, some of them not.

Trudging to work in the London drizzle this morning I found myself wishing, not for the first time, that I were a Hollywood star. Rather than negotiating the crowds on the Tube and dashing across the busy, grey roads of our capital, I would be recovering from the excesses of the Oscars in some beautiful pent house apartment. My gorgeous Marchessa gown would lie crumpled on the cream-carpeted floor while I relaxed in a hot tub and thought about what I’d wear for the next ceremony. Someone would bring me an iced tea to sip, and later I’d get a massage before falling back into my giant four-poster bed, at peace with the luxurious world. Ahhhhhh, if only.

Sometimes even a bit more glamour in my life would make me feel more ‘celebrity’, i.e. a few glitzy parties to attend with the chance to wear really nice clothes, or even the odd invite to a movie premiere. This is where my jealousy of escort girls kicks in – it’s not unusual for them to be asked along by clients who need an official, stunning partner at a posh do. The girls have collections of beautiful dresses for these occasions and are used to being guests at balls and charity dinners. A few have even found themselves at Leicester Square film premieres being snapped by confused paparazzi on the red carpet! They always look glamorous enough to be film stars, so a lot of people spend all night trying to work out what their claim to fame is!

Brunette escorts in London and busty escorts in London take the high-life in their stride, and I always feel that if any of them happen to have acting skills it wouldn’t be a huge leap for them to become a genuine red carpet star. Lucky London escorts!
